Any foreigner making a rude comment about the King risks immediate deportation. Pictures of the King are seen on every other street corner, in most business places and in a lot of Thai homes. These are terrific little 2 person taxis. They whip through the clogged streets much better than a car Click to enlarge There are over 32,000 wats in Thailand and more being built all the time. Wat Pho in Bangkok is one of the more important ones and one of three that we visited.
Images of the King greet you everywhere! Tuk Tuks, great for the crowded streets of Bangkok Street peddlars Wat Pho, one of the better known Buddhist temples
